Minolta AF Zoom 75-300mm in Minolta/Sony A-mount

Minolta's old manual lenses used the Minolta SR mount. It was abandoned when they produced the first ever AF system in 1985, using the then-new Minolta AF/A-mount. Minolta merged with Konica in 2003 but ceased producing cameras by 2006. Sony absorbed the photography division and began making their own digital SLRs using the Minolta AF system, which is also called the Minolta/Sony A-mount.
