Canon 50mm f/1.4 in Canon FD mount

Canon lenses were originally made by Nikon, but by the 1950s they began to make their own under the name of Serenar. Canon produced for their 35mm film SLRs the FL, FD, FDn mounts. In the mid-1980s, the completely abandoned the mount and began making AF lenses using the EF (Electro Focus) mount. Variants for APS-C cameras were called EF-S and then EF-M for mirrorless cameras.
