I obtained this set of Minolta Dynax 7000i autofocus film SLR and some A-mount lenses years ago. Minolta was an innovator when they introduced the world's first ever autofocus SLR in 1985 (Minolta Maxxum 7000). They ditched their SR-mount manual lenses for the autofocus A-mount. This autofocus mount was later used in Sony DSLRs when they acquired Minolta in the mid-2000s.

Another innovation you could see here is the use of expansion card system. These cards in the pictures are not to be mistaken for SD cards. These cards adds features to the camera such as multi-spot metering, or re-program the built-in AE modes to favor faster shutter speeds or smaller apertures, such as the sports action card. The card system was handy for less technically skilled users who want to use the camera as a point-and-shoot.
