Nikkormat FTn (1967-1975) |
The Nikkormat FTn (1967) was a consumer-level version of their professional F cameras. It was a fully manual camera with only the light meter that needs power. It was followed by the FS (stripped of light meter) and later the FTn, which simplified the lens mounting procedure done with the pin coupling. The Nikkormat FTn became popular for Nikon users from the late 1960s to 1970s. One thing that annoys is that you need a coin or stick to drag the ASA (ISO) setting, and was called the 'nail-breaker'.
